Ms. Peace has been teaching in the Lower East Side for years. She loves her students and the neighborhood. She adores seeing past students and their families on the streets and hearing what they're achieving beyond their middle school careers.

During her summers and breaks she travels and experiences new countries and cultures. During the holidays she visits her mother, brother, sister and nephews in the cornfields of Nebraska.

In New York she enjoys roaming the busy streets and exploring neighborhoods she's never been to. Sometimes she takes classes at the School of Visual Arts to learn and grow creatively.
