Omar Clarke was born and raised on a family farm in St. Catherine, Jamaica. He migrated to the US with his family and started university shortly after. Mr. Clarke received his BS in Marine Sciences from Stony Brook University. His first introduction to the DOE was as an after-school Step (African Foot Dance) Teacher. Shortly after that experience he decided to explore a career in education. Mr. Clarke then received his MA in Biology Education from New York University. He has been teaching in the NYCDOE ever since. Mr. Clarke has been a member of the UNMS community since 2015. |
