The Census determines the distribution of hundreds of millions of dollars that NYC urgently needs right now. But, as of July 2, only 53 percent of NYC households have responded to the census so far.
Please see below for some important ways you can volunteer to help improve NYC’s census response.
Make phone calls to remind New Yorkers to fill out their census. All you need is a phone and a computer. Click the link for your borough below to sign-up. You’ll receive training from the NYC Census Team.

If you haven’t filled out the census yourself yet, please do so right away! Just go to my2020census.gov to complete your census. You don’t need a code, just enter your address in the form to get started. Don’t wait, do it today!
